clock vs. chair

Hi Cory,
I can only offer suggestions based on what I've watched my husband make. Seems the rocker would be the least difficult and most efficient time and cost wise. A grandfather clock would be very nice, but keep in mind that will involve installing clock works, hanging a door (probably with glass), and grandfather clocks tend to have ornate features at the top. Are those your only choices? If you have others, I've seen some very nice patterns for blanket chests, or small hall benches (have a seat and back) that double as storage chests. My husband's first project he made for me is a beatiful oak sofa table. A project like that would be relatively uncomplicated. -Kathy
