A little more info would be helpful... One would assume that you turned the valve on after repalcing it.
There is a screen in the "garden hose" connector. This may have become clogged. If the valve is electric, 1) is it getting power, or 2) does applying power cause water to flow? Does water flow? The line may have frozen.
I have a ten year old stand-alone Sears ice maker. Within the last two years I have to dis-and-reassemble the harvester that cuts the ice every month, as opposed to the usual six-month cleaning interval. I use Vitamin-C tabs to de-calcify and have steel-wooled the pins on the harvester. I don't understand why certain pins increase their resistance (13 ohms for the grid, increasing until harvesting stops.
Anyone have a clue to a coating for the wires/pins to extend this weekly chore?
