George I had moved into a rent house way back and it had a old stove
that had been in a fire and looked bad, the lady had a guy paint the top
it looked great till we started cooking with it, all that heat sure
on the paint turned it black, so I took the top off and took it out side
and tryed paint remover on it and it worked grate and the porcelain
was fine, there was a 1/4 inch build up of baked on grees and stuff
under it too it took that off easy also with out hurting the porcelain
there ether. just be sure to take it out side most of them
just lift right off starting at the frount and as a hing at the back
that slips out after you get it raised up in the frount.
