In reply to Comments on low pressure by Ron J. on May 27th, 2002 06:56 AM [Go to top of thread]

Greetings All,

First, I need to explain my remark about taking advice from "someone" at Home Depot.

I have rarely had good luck asking advice from any clerk that I have found there. They may know where stuff is but, the experts are never working the days I go there. (six times this weekend, twice to return stuff that was recomended and was not right. But, I'm not bitter!)

I can now see how my remark could be read the wrong way and offend someone, That is not what was meant.

Now, Ron J.,

If the service is coming in at around 60psi and there is a restriction in the line coming to the tank, and if the water coming out of the tank was not restricted, would the tank lose pressure? When the tank was not drawing water, would it fill back to around 60psi?

Or would the tank only empty at the rate of incoming water?

As you can tell, I am not a plumber.

Sometimes I think about something long enough, I confuse myself.

Best wishes,
