circuit breaker tripping

Posted by lee on March 10th, 2003 01:50 PM

I have found an overloaded circuit in the house.

The 'frig, disposer, a light, a couple of outlets, the dishwasher, and the heat/ac blower fan is all on this circuit.

But it only trips intermittently, and every single time it's been when we're running the washing machine and the dishwasher at the same time.

The catch? The washing machine is on a seperate circuit.

I know I need to fix the overloading issue, but I'm curious why it doesn't trip more often, and only when we're running the washing machine.
