Chirping Furnace

Anyone heard of a chirping furnace before. If yes, what does it mean and how to stop it?

My York gas furnace chirps every minute or so when the burner is on. It is 2 very quick chirps and then stop for a minute or so. If I turn the heat off, the sound seems to stop.

It sounds like the sound made by smoke alarms running low on battery, except the volume of chirping is very low. In fact, the sound volume is so low that no one else in the house even noticed it. For a few days I was going nut thinking I was hearing voices in my head.

Can anyone think of anything? I am pretty sure it comes from the furnace, at lease from that general area. Furnace seems to be working just fine.
