Steve.........I checked online and depending on how tall a chimney you have .......a simple 6" Stainless Steel liner 2-story (without any terminations) is about $400.00.........add the terminations and plenty more time than the one-hour that Tom thinks is necessary..........and half of that work is up on top-o-the-roof carrying a hefty surcharge to the WorkersCompInsurance of the contractor.......

So if you cut all the corners.....and have the time and skills.......and the rooftop-courage......you could DIY for about half/third the pro's estimate.............
