A neighbour of mine is looking to insert a stailess
steel liner down a old chimney so it can be used with a wood stove.
I've heard that you can pour a mixture of vermiculite and concrete down around the liner
so to act as an insulator between the liner and the chimney. This is also suppose to help
with condensation. My question is what is exactly mixed with the vermiculite(concrete, portland ,masonary morter)
and what is the mix ratio??
