There's no asphalt in it, in fact no petro-chemicals at all. No toxic or hazardous ingredients, No exposure, outgassing, or inhalation concerns. A very people-friendly material. very likely can be overlaid on your existing surfaces and durability that will likely outlive you. Use adhesives specifically for linoleum, not vinyl.
