I AM A RESIDENT MANAGER OF A 264 UNIT APARTMENT COMMUNITY. I HAVE A CEMENT STAIRWAYS IN MY BREEZE WAYS. THE BOTTOM 6-7 STEPS ARE ALWAYS CRACKING AND FALLING APART BECAUSE THE MOISTER IS GETTING TO THE REBAR CAUSING IT TO RUST AND EXPAND AND CRACK THE CEMENT. IS THERE NEW KIND OF STEP THAT THE REBAR IS MADE OUT OF A NON METALLIC SUBSTANCE SO THAT THIS CRACKING WILL NOT OCCUR TO MY STEPS WHEN EXPOSE TO THE ELEMENTS THAT IS CRACKING AND CHIPPING AWAY. OR IS THERE ANYTHING THAT WE CAN PUT OVER THE STEPS THAT WOULD SEAL ALL MOISTER OUT OF THE CEMENT STEP. RESIDENTS ARE CONCERNED AND COMPLAINING FOR THEIR SAFETY.
THANKS
GARY
