We recently had a patio room built accross the back of our house. I painted the floor with a beige "cement" paint. Looks boring. I would like to do splashes of color(burgendy, green, etc. but do not know what to do... Have thought of sponging it...The floor is not "smooth" as a portion of it was our outside patio floor. Also, a small area is peeling because of water damage.(Left the windows up and it rained.) How can I prevent this from happening? Would love any ideas. Furnished in rustic Mexican furniture. We live on a farm in E. Texas but house looks like it should be in Santa Fe. Would like the floor to compliment Mexican look.
