i'm an amateur plus i don't have the money to hire this home is 25yrs old. i wanted to repaint the ceilings and walls. while removing the light fixtures the old acoustic popcorn ceiling pulled off in places so i went ahead and scraped the ceilings. i tried to remove the old wall paper and tore the paper on the drywall. i have bought an air compressor and a hooper to blow on a new surface. questions- 1)can i mix my paint in with my mud to avoid having to paint the ceiling? 2)how many parts mud to parts paint? 3)if not,how long do i have to wait to paint the ceiling or do i need too? 4)can i make the ceiling one texture and the walls another. 5)how difficult is splatter & drag? ..thank you
