this house we are working on was bulit in 1889 the owners took down the drywall and found they had wood ceilings and they would like to keep them the problem is it has big gaps in different spots how would we go about to fill these gaps without loosing the natral wood look ? the people we are doing this for don't want to see the filler. what kind of filler do you recommand? the ceiing is made of pine which has a red tint to it. the wood was sealed many years ago with som kind of varnish which is like a dark burgundy and it also has lots of small nails we are sanding down but she said it was to much time consuming first she agreed she liked the bonakemi filler now she doesn't and wants it out wha can we do. the people want to stain and seal the ceiling natrual wood no stain just the color the wood gives you.
