Ceiling fan and A/C

Cory, I don't think that a ceiling fan will help much. Yes it will cool the upstairs but you will be trying to cool the whole world and your air conditioner (A/C) will soon burn out. My guess is that you have an insulation problem but there is one way to tell for sure and it will cost you little or nothing. Call your electric company. They have experts whose job it is to tell you how to save money on heating and cooling your house. They would rather spend a little for this than spend mega-millions to build a new generating station. Even if they have to buy electricity from another source, the electricity is more expensive than what they make themselves.

I really have no way of knowing exactly what you need. Their expert can look around and see your exact situation. It may cost you a little for an "energy audit", and more for the fix, but it will save you too in the long run.
