Ceiling fan

The blue wire is typically the hot wire for the light kit. So it needs to hook up to the black (hot)
wire in the ceiling box along with the hot wire for the fan. As far as the other wire goes it is typically white. But it is unclear due to the fact that it has
"no insulation" which denotes it could be a ground wire. Of course,you have to have a neutral to go with the blue wire for the fan to work. So be sure to trace everything out to be sure we're on the same page Good Luck!!!
