We have a cedar shake roof that is 7 years old and never cleaned. Some moss is developing - we live in Washington state - and I have had different opinions from professional roof cleaners on how they clean and treat. The one I am most interested in getting your opinion about is having the roof cleaned using a soap solution made up of potassium and followed with a treament of a product called Millbright afterwood that would tint the roof. Does this sound like a safe method? Thanks
