Usually, a good flexible 20 year caulk will do the trick. Make sure it is a latex based PAINTABLE caulk. Pure silicone doesn't like paint the way water won't stick to something that's been greased real good.

Pay the extra $3 for the "dripless" caulking gun too!

After it dries, just paint it.
