Thanks for the input. The baffles will not collapse from the insulation pressing against them. They
are fairly stout and have a rib down the middle that supports against the decking. I went ahead and
insulated before I got your response, because I was on a schedule developed by my wife. When I put
the insulation in, the baffle actually held the insulation away from the decking, even on the sides of
the baffle where I was concerened about. I think things will be alright I hope. What I really needed
was some type of webbing to hold the insulation back and provide for positive ventilation from eave to
ridge. Oh well.
