I have an old Casa Blanca ceiling fan(4-blade 52") which has a rotary control for controlling the rotation speed of the blades. It appears to be an ordinary potentiometer (pot) with two wires feeding from the fan's terminal strip. I have replaced the pot two or three times. Each time I put a new pot in the fan it works fine for a number of days and then quits altogether until I replace the pot again.

Where can I get the original specs for the pot and/or other repair parts for the fan. It's a lovely fan with beautiful blades and a 5-bulb light fixture attached.

Can someone help me find solutions/parts.
