I do walls horizontally, bottom to top with tongue on top. I use a Paslode 15 ga. cordless finish nailer, hiding the nails on the tongue. No drywall or adhesive is necessary. Do your best to get quality boards, it makes the job much easier. It is not easy getting a warped 10 foot tongue in a warped 10 foot groove, especially by yourself. If your boards are over six feet, you should probably have a second pair of hands, and a rubber mallet will be very helpful. Good luck
