I have a Carrier Weathermaker SX gas furnace in my basement, and the unit is about 12 years old. I also have noticed that there is "water" that leaks out from under the unit, in addition to the water that flows out of the condensate line.

I had a repair person check the leakage out. Best he could come up with was a condensate problem with moisture laden air against the furnace surfaces. Didn't appear to be an actual leakage -- more of an accumulation of condensation.

In the basement, I'm not too concerned. Otherwise the unit runs very well and is pretty efficient.

Does anyone know the efficiency rating of this particular unit? I do not have the original manual. Thanks.
