carpet on a concrete slab

Posted by Sue on February 23rd, 2002 01:25 PM

Is there a way to minimize the impact of the concrete slab in my home on our feet and legs (hardness and coldness)by laying foam or pad of some kind that is somewhat more insulating and "cushiony" than the usual carpet padding? Also sometimes pads of this nature make lamps and small pieces of furniture unstable because of the "softer" surface, and they can then fall over pretty easily. That is certainly a drawback.
