We bulit a new home 4 years ago this March. A year ago we noticed that the carpet was getting buckled for lack of a better word. It looked as though it wasn't stretched to fit the floor like there was extra. We were told sometimes when carpet is laid in the winter in the cold the carpet doesn't lay as it should and this buckling/puckering sometimes happens. Is this true? And second can the average joe like me stretch the carpet myself to fix the problem??? If so how?
