I believe you screw the green wire to the frame. Depending upon how old the dryer is. Problem is, the outlet you have for your dryer is a range plug rated at a higher amperage than a dryer. You should be fine, but ask GE. GE's phone number is toll free, 1-800-626-2000, and a service tech will walk you through the whole thing right now, even while you actually do it. You will need your model number, which should be on a metal tag either on the inside rim of the dryer or on the back of the control panel.

Also, use a METAL flexible dryer hose to connect to the duct, make sure it vents to the OUTSIDE, and clean the inside of the dryer (Take off the front panel) out with a vacuum. It should be worth a dollar to you in loose change!!! *grins* have fun!
