I currently have nice maple cabinets in my kitchen with an Oatmeal stain that we dislike. Can the cabinets be re-stained a darker color that we would like more? How is that done? Or do we have to do a whole refacing or replacing. I don't want to dump a ton of money into this since they are great cabinets- we just hate the color.
