burner caution

my father has had one for many years also. while i haven`t looked myself, he did tell me he couldn`t locate one;that they weren`t made anymore. he did find a propane burner that he likes fairly well. he`s also aquired a "paint shaver" that takes off paint faster than anything i`ve seen yet. drawbacks are that it`s expensive and requires skill and practice. it still doesn`t get eveything. a word of caution here. my father has lead poisoing from using tese burners and not taking proper precautions. i`ve even got a heavier dose by using nonhepa vacuums to dust contaminated with lead form leaded gasoline(turning an old car dealership into a museum). i would never put heat to or touch, in anyway, anyting i suspected as having lead without being TOTALLY informed in lead removal. sorry i couldn`t help more. be carefull and good luck.
