Building Kitchen Cabinets

Posted by john on February 18th, 2003 08:30 PM

I am going to build new kitchen cabinets. I am wondering what product I should use to build the carcass of the cabinets. I read about using 5/8 inch particle board. I don't think I want to look at the particle everytime I open the cabinet door and look inside. I was thinking about 3/4 inch thick oak plywood to match the solid oak fronts, however I do not know if this will warp and the plywood obviously cost more. Can anyone please share their experiences and/or tips. thanks
