Buffing out scratches on faucet finish

Posted by BP Smith on March 20th, 2002 01:53 PM

I have a new Moen platinum-finish lav faucet with minor scuff marks on it (on top of spigot). I would like to get the scuffs out (without making it worse, obviously). Do I use some kind of fine wool to buff it, and do I also use some kind of polish or wax? Is there such a thing as touch-up paint for faucets like they have for cars?

ps) A late thanks to jb for advice on removing my old sink--it worked.
