IF USUALLY MEANS THAT WHEN THE WOOD WAS INSTALLED THE EXPANSION GAP AROUND THE PERIMITER OF THE ROOM WAS NOT SUFFICIENT TO LET THE WOOD EXPAND AND CONTRACT WITH THE DIFFERENT TEMPS AND HUMIDITY CHANGES.
IF 1/4 ROUND WAS USED, TRY PULLING OFF SEVERAL PIECES AROUND THE AFFECTED ROOM AND SEE IF THE WOOD IS "JAMMED" UP TIGHT TO THE WALL/BASEBOARD.
THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT LEAST 1/4" ALLOWANCE...
IF THE FLOOR WAS PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED, CALL THEM!!! THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM.
