did the porcelin base break? Or did the bolt break off? Or did the bolt come loose from the colar?

Please come back to us and we will further assist you.

If the base broke, you need a new comode. The base bolts should be tightened very carefully. I normally go one turn on each then sit on the comode, then tighten a turn again, then sit again. When they snug up, then stop. If your ratchet down, then the base will break very easy.

If the bolt broke or the bolt came off, then you have to pull the comode up, install and remove the old wax ring, then insert a new bolt in the metal flange, then remount.

If this happened, you need to call a plumber and have this done correctly.
