Brick Problems

Are the bricks actually cracking in the brick itself or the mortar around the brick?

Were the bricks set on a good concrete foundation all around the home? Was the soil properly prepared for this load? Have you had alot of rain or drought befor the brick construction then rain after installation? Were those metal straps used that actually fastenens the brick wall to the wall of the home?

you have this because of foundation shifting or improper prep work for the additional load.

Now the thumb print is way beyond my understanding and ability to trouble shoot. The brick was cured and dried upon delivery. So, if it changed in shape, that is something that a person from Missouri will have to see.

Good Luck, keep us posted.
