I'm with Jay J on grouting a floor of a pool house. But who needs plans, just think about a vertical brick wall laid flat instead. Contact your local brick layer but doable yourself if you can mix mortar and lay brick in a row. Also think of it like laying ceramic tile but grouting it with mortar at the same time as laying it. This will crack and break up in no time from ground heave, etc. which is why they aren't generally mortared to begin with. If you want one to last, pour a 4" concrete slab then lay your brick with usual spacing and about a 1/2" of mortar as a bottom layer.
Old time brick streets start with a foot or more of subgrade preparation and then a layer of concrete with the brick on top sanded in.
