A lot depends on what you'll be using this for and to what extent. As a remodeling contractor, I only own SENCO guns, due to their high quality, excellent jam removal features, and durability of internal components. They also sell repair kits that allow an operator to fix virtually any problem one may encounter. They are powerful and very durable. Porter Cable makes one sold by Home Depot, that looks okay from the outside and costs $98. However, the nose has a removable piece to clear jams and if this gets lost, you're out of luck, until you order a new piece. I don't consider this quality, and thus question other parts as well. I'm sure it works just fine, but I prefer the tried and true Senco brand anyday.
