Sure you could boost water pressure, but it will not help. Its not water pressure thats the problem, its water volume. When you reduce the size of the pipe, because its lined with calcium, many times it reduces it so small, you can't even stick the lead of a pencil in it. In addition, all the little bumps and hills created on the inside slow down the water flow, so it does not come out of the faucet very fast. A pressure booster system raises the pressure at a great cost, but for the same cost, you can get your pipes replaced. Other than boosting it, there is nothing you can put in to remove the calcium that you would want to later drink, no matter how much flushing you did. Snaking it will not work.
