In reply to Tips for Spraying with Airless Paint Sprayer? by Bob D on April 26th, 2001 12:23 PM [Go to top of thread]

Bob, I normally cut in the corners and wall/ceiling intersection with a brush and make sure to cut a space about 10 inches. Then after you spray, before it dries, feather out the line of demarcation between the spray and the hand. This will blend it in.

Now, BoB, another thing to check into is the tip size. there are many sizes and for inside, you do not want as much paint pushed out as you would for outside. so, consult a paint dealer for good advice.

The feathering part is important as the brush and sprayer will deliver different looks.

Watch the overspray, this is the killer, cut your pressure down low also.

Good Luck.

Practice in the closet first.
