Well I was standing on my deck this morning waiting for the dogs come in, mind you this is the same deck that yesterday I noticed my roof shingles have waves in them and today I notice black smoke coming from the chimney that the oil furnace uses. I have been in this house two years and have never even seen any smoke from this chimney and today it is black...I called the furnace company and they said the furnace is acting up and they are sending someone out. Does anyone know what this might be before they get out here...Or is it even the furnace, could maybe a chimney sweep need to be done..The furnace people said dont let anyone sell you a chimeny sweep this is defintely furnace related...Any Thought out there.
