biodegradeable stripper for outside deck

I was told of a product to strip the paint off my deck that is biodegradeable and not harmful to plants, concrete, etc. There is a guy on the radio, I think the Handyman show, that told me of a product called Strip-X-L. I found Strip-X, made by Klean Strip but it is not the right product, or the same he told me about. This product is considered hazardous material waste and the other could be hosed away with water, per the handyman. I checked with Klean Strip and they don't know of it. Do you have any ideas of a stripper that will take the paint off of my deck and that is ecologically safe? If so, what is that and where can I get it in the Chicago, Illinois area?
