Greg Before you bentonite reseach it in Consumer Reports. At best it will work 50% of the time. Water is very powerful and therefore creates alot of pressure. There was a home I read about in upstate NY that after the bentonite injection the basement floor was pushed up 12" heaving and cracking the concrete. There is a very good article in the Permanent Building and Foundation journal (PBF) this month about waterproofing a foundation. the web site address is http://www.pbf.org A much better and lasting method is water control vs water proofing. http://www.basementsystems.com may also be of help. What part of the country are you located?
