After about a month of self-educating myself on table saws before buying my first one, I had settled on the Ryobi, but then I found this forum, which quickly changed my mind. Now, I've almost settled on the Delta 36-600, which I can get from Lowes for $359. (It happened to be sitting right next to the Ryobi, and the difference in feel just blew me away.)
$400 is my hard upper limit. I'll probably use it fairly lightly, doing cabinets and other home (and motorhome) projects.
So my question to this helpful community is: What do you think of the results of my self-education (i.e. my choice)? I WOULD like a little more portability, but I'm not prepared to sacrifice stability and quality for it.
Thank you in advance, and if any of you have any computer-related questions, I'll be happy to answer them (I'm a software engineer).
