I would want to know for certain what the problem was. You ASSUMED the original problem was something your insurance would cover and found out differently. You and the current owner are ASSUMING you know what the current problem is. Before I agreed to accept the current problem, I would want some valid unbiased evidence that it was something I was in fact liable for. Let the current owner hint at sending the lawyers after you all they want....a lawyer isn't going to accept a case coming after you without knowing the facts. YOU should have them before accepting any liability for this. Just my $.02 worth. Luck, Kizmet
