Too bad you can't lock up the kids for a while. They just make bigger holes in your hollow core doors and get out, right?
You patch them just like you patch medium sized holes in plaster wall. Cut an oval out of cheap 1/4" plywood just big enough so the small side of the oval will fit thru the widest part of the hole. Drill a couple of small holes thru the plywood and tie a string thru the holes so you have a handle. Lay the door flat, insert the plywood and pull up on the string. Fill the depression with Minwax wood filler in a couple of layers or one layer of Bondo. Sand flat and smooth. Put on a spit coat to seal the grain, then prime and paint. Sorry to say, but then you do it in another place in a couple of months. Or send the kids to camp.
You get revenge when you have grandchildren.
