Bee Holes in Cedar Siding

Do you think the bee holes in my cedar siding are the "carpenter bees?" The holes are the size Jay J mentioned. I do see the bees and know that it is the bees making the holes and the holes are the size Jay J mentioned. I thought cedar repelled pests. Please advise. Thankyou, Zelda
