Hi, Anita, As Henry in M said, you can replace the
the door, cost is mimimal. but if you dont have any one
who can do this for you, you can always cover it with a
new plywood panel, ( bothsides) and you can make it look
nice to suit your decor,.
The only place you have to do a little work is arounf the
lock area, take off the handels and re-drill the holes
but remember the door frame side you will have to make the
plywood a little smaller than the door,about 5/8"- 3/4" on
the inside, on the outside you can come to the edge of the
door with no problems, you can nail or glue it. myself I
would do both.....................

PS. the ply wood need only be 1/8" thick.
