I'm going to put beadboard and crown molding on the ceiling in my bathroom. It's an old building with about 1" of plaster and then concrete under the plaster.
The plan is to attach furring strips to the plaster/concrete and then nail the beadboard into the furring strips. My problem is that the ceiling sags about 3/4" lower in one corner than the rest of the room.
What is the best way to level the ceiling before attaching the beadboard? Should I do this by ripping the furring strips to accommodate for the sag or is there an easier way?
