Although this may be 'normal' in your house (J.C.), the Poster's distributor has told her that he's NEVER heard of the problem as she's described it. He said MAYBE it's condensation, and he doesn't know if it's covered by the warranty.
I still advise that, warranty or not, get someone out to the house to AT LEAST identify the cause. If it's condensation, then measures should be taken to eliminate or reduce the dripping water. I, personally, have never heard of this but maybe unlike J.C., who may do this type of work for a living, I've only put in my own HWH; no more. If it's normal, have someone on-site tell you. From here, neither I nor J.C. can say for sure what the problem is. (Albeit, good speculation ...)
