Hi hy,

If you do ANYTHING on your own to remove the adhesive, you may well VOID your Warranty! That's exactly what the Installer WANTS you to do. IE., get him off the 'hook' by having you take a crack at 'ruining' the job. IF this comes to be, all he has to say to the judge is, "Well, your Honor, if 'Roger' had only waited another week, I was going to get to it. BUT, since he took matters into his own hands, how can I be liable??!"

Serious, don't do anything, even if you end up in court. My best to ya and hope this helps.

PS: I know 'hy' means well but I wouldn't do it.
