Bathtub Material

Help - I am trying to decide what kind of bathtub to install. The traditional kind is cast iron, but I also like a tub made by American Standard out of a material called Americast. Here is info below:

The Americast is porcelain on a metal and composite base so it is much lighter than cast iron. (I don't want my husband to destroy his back.) The price of the Americast and cast iron tubs are the same, so price is not an issue.

Does anyone have any experience with Americast, pro or con?
Thanks -- Debbie
