Bathroom Vent Fan

Posted by Luc on September 30th, 2000 08:54 AM

I am adding a vent fan to a bathroom. Above the fan there is a blanket of fiberglass insulation. Then there is an unheated area going up to the peak which has ridge venting. There are also soffit vents connecting to this area. The easiest would be to vent the fan into this unheated area or, with more difficulty, I could put a dryer vent through the siding and vent directly outside. Would either approach work or is one preferable?
