BATHROOM SHOWER WALL/WINDOW REPAIRS

Posted by AMIL SALEMI on January 9th, 2001 01:02 PM

Bob
I just finished taking a regular window (32"*50")out and replaced it with a 32"*20" window in my shower area.
I also put up Green Wallboard and tiled 95% of this area.
My problem is the inside of my new window and approx. 3" of the wall around the window that has holes or missing wallboard from putting in the new window.

What ideas would you have to finish this. The new window has a 1" ridge around inside the shower and stops around 2-3" from the wall in the shower. Also what type of compound is used to fill the holes that are 1-2" wide so the tile can be installed on it and still be waterproff.

I hope you can understand what I am trying to do.

Thanks
Amil Salemi

PS Love your show. But everyone must tell you that. I mean it. Keep up the good work.
