Bathroom Shower

Posted by C. Paul Gowers, Jr. on April 18th, 2001 05:55 PM

Dear Bob:
I have a 60" x 32" ceramic shower laid over a cement pan. We took out the walls, including the tile, up to 4 feet to get to "dry" drywall. The pan does not have a lip of any kind on it. The access door into the bathroom is 24" wide and there is a window.
The local builders supply tells me that 60" x 32" is a non-standard size and they do not stock or supply anything in that size. I want to install a fiberglass unit to avoid future problems.
Where can I find a pan and walls to do the project?
Thanks, Paul.
